For this reason, Telkomsel decided to look for a big data solution that can rectify this problem and sustain exponential growth in data processing in the long term.

Paques Data Enterpriseis equipped to cope with rising data complexity and meet massive data volumes’ fast handling and processing needs. This enables distributed processing and runs parallel with multiple servers, as shown in its capability to process Telkomsel 160 terabytes of data with only 20 servers in one day.
- Data batch is periodically transferred every 15 minutes from over 240 servers of the geolocation system and is to be processed in less than 24 hours each day.
- 3 to 4 million data files are received in one day, and each file represents a collection of subscriber event information in one geohash-8 area (38 m x 19 m land area).
- The process involves grouping and distributing data files according to cellular technology and source regions, performing quarterly, hourly, and daily aggregation, and data mapping to city-level administrative areas.
- Capable of simultaneously processing different data sets using various formulas to produce more than 409 KPIs of 2G, 3G, and 4G cellular technology.
